Situated in Berlin's pulsating and hip central district of Mitte, amidst creative and chic fashion shops, galleries, trendy media agencies and a myriad of culinary locations, the 72-apartment Lux 11 opened on July 1st 2005. The renowned London-based architect team, Silvestrin/Salmaso, has elegantly fused this stylishly modern structure with its historic setting. With interiors oriented towards hospitality, spaciousness and comfort, the Lux 11's open-plan guest rooms and public spaces provide natural scenery in tones of Chinese green for the gleaming bleached wood furniture and fittings.

The ground floor of this Berlin Hotel is a vibrant place for guests and locals to hang out and meet up. The in-house beauty salon & spa allows for various degrees of styling before heading out into the fray.

The Restaurant and bar of the Lux 11 is currently closed for refurbishment. The re-styled restaurant and bar will open in September 2009 with an exclusive gala party. In the mean time guests of the hotel are invited to dine at the chic partner "Café- Restaurant Schoenbrunn" or enjoy breakfast at the exclusive "Susuru' partner design restaurant.

For a fee, Lux 11 is able to provide Air-conditioning in most rooms to make the tropical conditions in Berlin more comfortable. The units must be requested at the time of booking.
