Air Transport World (ATW) is a monthly trade magazine covering the airline industry. They also provide an online version with daily air transport news. It covers airline operations, market conditions, management, and related issues. Each year, it publishes a World Airline Report covering the state of the industry, and selects an Airline of the Year on the basis of operational excellence.

The ATW airline industry awards program was born in 1974 to recognize excellence. Originally a modest program, the ATW Awards over the intervening decades have gained in importance and stature to become one of the most coveted and valued honors a company or a person in the airline industry can receive.
