The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is a federal, autonomous body set up to oversee all aviation-related activities in the United Arab Emirates.

To take the lead in the civil aviation sector on international level.

Mission

To improve the civil aviation sector in the United Arab Emirates by establishing and developing the policies and rules related to the organization of air navigational services, enhancing safety and security levels and ensuring quality implementation of the same in line with the civil aviation approved regulations and the best international standards and practices.
