Norman Manley International Airport is an airport serving Kingston in Jamaica. As well as Sangster International Airport, it is a hub of Air Jamaica. It was named in honour of Norman Washington Manley. There are over 130 international flights a week that depart from Norman Manley International Airport.

The Airport serves a diverse range of travellers; foreign nationals (for business and leisure) as well as non-resident and resident Jamaicans.
With its proximity to the nation’s capital NMIA is of significant importance for business travel to and from Jamaica and for the movement of air cargo. The Airport Operator, NMIA Airports Limited, [a wholly-owned subsidiary of Airports Authority of Jamaica (AAJ)], commenced operation of NMIA in 2003 October; based on a 30-year Concession Agreement with the AAJ, with specific performance targets.
Currently a major expansion and development programme is in progress, aimed at making NMIA one of the finest airports in the region.
The Airport caters to over 1.7 million passengers and handles over 70 percent (17 million kilogram) of the island's air freight. The Airport business network is comprised of over 70 companies and government agencies, with over 3,500 persons directly employed at the Airport.
The Norman Manley International Airport plays a critical role in the economic development of Jamaica, and is the premier gateway to the nation's capital, Kingston.

A new two-level passenger pier is now in operation and provides for the separation of arriving and departing passengers, in keeping with international security protocols.
