Brest Bretagne Airport

In service since the 12th of December 2007, after 4 years under construction, the new terminal can accommodate 1.4 million passengers annually, and offers a higher level of service and comfort for both passengers and visitors.

The total cost of the new terminal zone: 52.8 million Euros, including 35 million Euros for the construction of the air terminal (cost of research/surveys, construction, refurbishment and amenities).

The new terminal has been designed and built according to the highest ecological standards :

• Recycling of rainwater from the roof.
• The use of construction materials from sustainable sources such as steel and glass.
• Reinforced insulation to avoid the use of air conditioning.
• White canvas stretched over the ceiling to gain luminosity thereby reducing the need for artificial lighting.

With 1200 more parking spaces as well as the existing ones (including 430 spaces in the covered car park on two levels directly connected to the terminal), the parking capacity of the airport is now 2500 spaces.
