Since 1934, Marseille Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has managed the airport.

In 1987, the French State renewed the concession for thirty years.

Since 1980, the Marseille-Provence CCI has managed the civilian area of the Air-en-Provence airfield.

Gateway for perishable goods from Africa (fish, flowers, fruits and vegetables) Marseille Provence Airport provides to freight operators a 1200 square meters refrigerated building, which has been certified as a customs inspection post by the European Union.
