Ancona Falconara Airport

Ancona Falconara Airport was called Raffaello Sanzio after the famous painter Raphael who was born in Urbino in the Marche. It is 18 kms from the city of Ancona and its new Passenger and Cargo Terminals were inaugurated on 24 June 2004.

It is close to a railway station and is directly connected by a viaduct to the main roads and motorway that link Rome and Milan.

Ancona Falconara Airport is halfway down the Italian Adriatic coast and its strategic position provide a perfect location for a centre with multi-transport facilities.

Ancona Falconara Airport has recently been expanded and remodernized making it a modern focus for the Marche and neighbouring regions for the development of tourism and industry in a United Europe.
