In 1953 TMA was established as a non-scheduled airline for cargo and passengers.

Trans Mediterranean Airways (TMA) is based at Beirut International Airport (BIA) as the only Lebanese all-cargo carrier. Throughout a long-standing history, stretching over more than 48 years of professional achievements in the cargo business, TMA played an active role in servicing and developing the international trade.

TMA is an active member of IATA (The International Air Transport Association) especially in cargo activities and committees, and is a founding member of AACO (The Arab Air Carriers Organization).

Their Mission and Objectives

They seek to provide their customers with Quality Products to satisfy their changing requirements and strengthen their corporate loyalty, by sharpening and modernizing their invaluable Expertise, Technical Know-how, and specialized Equipment, and by ensuring Continuous Improvement in the quality of the services offered.

In order to succeed, activities will be expanded and diversified towards Niche-Services and potential areas of Growth.
