Star Cargo plc was formed in 1983 by five of its existing directors who wished to utilise their commercial expertise in forming a transport group. The business expanded rapidly in the early 1990’s to encompass six trading companies, each of them operating autonomously.


The group customers, predominantly based in Europe, and actively involved in worldwide trade, have helped the company achieve its present day position as a major player in the niche market of ferry bookings, specialised forwarding and dedicated European tranport.

Star Cargo is confident that with their sound financial base, experienced staff and their will to succeed that they can provide an efficient ongoing service to their clients where innovation prevails.
