SkyEurope Airlines flew its first passenger on 13 February 2002 and since that time has become one of the most popular low cost airlines in Central Europe, carrying over 3.7 million passengers each year. To prove its popularity among customers, SkyEurope Airlines has been recently voted Eastern Europe's best low cost airline in Worlds Foremost Low Cost Airlines Survey by SkyTrax Research of London.


SkyEurope operates a fleet of Boeings 737 that is expected to grow to 32 modern Boeing 737-700 NG aircraft by 2011.

Despite being a low cost airline, SkyEurope Airlines never compromises its product and they make sure flying with them is a great experience may it be a business trip, a city break or an unforgettable holiday.

SkyEurope Airlines is the first and only publicly listed low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe quoted on the Stock Exchanges in Vienna and Warsaw. Trading on both stock exchanges commenced on 27 September 2000.

Since the beginning of its operations in 2001 SkyEurope Airlines has received quite a few international awards which they are proud of very much. The most appreciated award however have always been the happy faces of their passengers.
