Pacific Coastal Airlines is a well-established name on the Canadian West Coast employing over 300 people including pilots, flight attendants, engineers, dispatchers, freight, customer service/reservation agents and an administration team. Pacific Coastal operates a total of 18 bases and has a fleet of 26 aircraft. Nine of these aircraft are float planes, six that can accommodate up to 9 passengers.

This family run airline was founded by CEO and Director Daryl Smith over 30 years ago. Daryl's roots are in the logging business, but he gained his reputation through 42 years of aviation experience as a pilot and owner of several regional carriers. With various degrees from the University of British Columbia and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University the Smith family oversees all operations in the Northern and Southern BC Regions alongside a staff who have previous experience with Air Canada, AirBC, Trans Provincial Airlines, Canadian Airlines, and more.

Pacific Coastal Airlines flies between Vancouver's South Terminal and the B.C. airports/communities: Anahim Lake, Bella Bella, Bella Coola, Campbell River, Comox, Cranbrook, Kamloops, Klemtu, Masset, Port Hardy, Powell River, Trail, Victoria Int'l, and Williams Lake.

Pacific Coastal's headquarters are located at the Vancouver International Airport South Terminal. The South Terminal is very efficient, designed to be a "smart terminal" for busy travelers, it features numerous benefits: reduced congestion, short check-in lineups, short walks to gates and parking.
