EuroLOT SA was established on 19th December 1996 commencing regular air operations in July 1997. Initially EuroLOT operated as an air carrier with its own network of connections. At that time EuroLOT’s fleet was made up of turboprop aircraft manufactured by French company Avions de Transport Regional: 5 own ATR42-300s and 8 ATR72-202s leased from PLL LOT together with aircrew. In 1998-2000 EuroLOT also operated two 18-seat British-made BAe J31 Jetstream aircraft.

EuroLOT S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of Polskie Linie Lotnicze LOT S.A., is an operator providing air transport services mainly for LOT. It flies to domestic and international regional airports. Its ATR72 and ATR42 aircraft make total approximately 29,000 flights per year carrying 1,000,000 passengers. In-flight services are rendered by EuroLOT’s own personnel.

Apart from providing air links between 20 domestic and international airports, EuroLOT is also a provider of commuter flights for international air operations, being an important part of Warsaw Okęcie hub.

EuroLOT’s fleet is comprised of 14 short-range turboprop airliners: six 46-seat ATR42-500s and eight 64-seat ATR72-202s. They have an optimum operational range of 1,200 km with a full complement of passengers, and a maximum range of approximately 2500 km.

In order to meet their customers’ growing demands and maintain the highest quality and safety of the services provided, EuroLOT is planning to further modernize its fleet and constantly improve the qualifications of its personnel.
