Denim Airways

Denim Air was founded in February 1996. They started out with scheduled services, three return flights per day between Eindhoven Airport and London City. These services were terminated in March 1997, because of heavy competition from so-called low cost carriers.

In that year the course of Denim Air was drastically altered. Denim Air was completely reorganized and was structured to serve the wet- lease market. This proved to be very successful. Soon Denim Air grew enormously. The aircraft fleet needed expansion up to 14 Fokker 50 aircraft and the number of employees increased exponentially.
Denim Air provides flexible aircraft & crew capacity to regional airlines. They offer tailor-made capacity solutions to fit the ever-changing needs of the regional aviation industry. Their main office is located at Hoofddorp, just near Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands.
Denim Air is holder of an unrestricted AOC, and they operate as an all-round service provider for other commercial airlines. Last year alone, their aircraft and crews performed more than 35,000 scheduled flights on behalf of various operators across Europe and the rest of the world.
Denim Air can provide you with long or short-term wet-leases, A.C.M.I. contracts, full operational assistance, back-up aircraft and around-the-clock services. And they can do more; Denim Air does not only provide capacity by leasing aircraft and crew to various airlines, but they can also offer services like ad-hoc charter flights, crew training, sharing know-how with you or helping you with your JAA approvals.
