The company was founded on October 8th, 1929. It is one of the first ones opening the era of commercial flights. From the very beginning it has been characterized by the constant improvement of its services. It is a founder and member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Association of Aeronautical Telecommunications (SITA) and of the International Association for Latin American Air Transport (AITAL).

To perform as the Cuba’s flag airline, the transportation of passengers, cargo and mail, achieving profitability in our operations and delivering services and customer attention at the same level as our competitors, with security and punctuality as their distinctive attributes.
