Chelan Airways has been providing Lake Chelan air transportation and flightseeing tours since 1945. They offer direct flights through West Isle Air to Stehekin in approximately 30 minutes and specialize in extended scenic flights high over the North Cascades Mountains and Glaciers.


Their terminal features a comfortable lounge area for passengers. Juice, Soda, and Bottled Water are available for sale. Chelan Airways hats, vests, jackets, t-shirts, and sweatshirts are also available for sale at their Chelan Terminal.

Safety is their primary concern. Scheduled flight departure and duration times are based on expected conditions. Weather and other factors may affect their floatplane operations and therefore departure / arrival times cannot be guaranteed.

They are now working in conjunction with Stehekin Landing Resort, Stehekin Valley Ranch, Stehekin Pastry Company and Log Cabins and Stehekin Outfitters to custom design Adventure Packages that include meals lodging and transportaion. This is an exciting new development to allow access to one of the most beautiful and nearby wilderness areas in the country.
