In 1984 Par Avion Wilderness Tours was established specialising in flights and tour to the South West World Heritage National Park. Par Avion have developed a range of tour options including Port Davey Cruises, Day In the Wilderness Tours, South West Scenic Flights and offering Bushwalker Flights to Melaleuca.

Being inducted into the Tourism Hall of Fame established their company as Tasmania's premier Airline and wilderness flight operator.
