Air Tanzania as the national flag carrier of Tanzania provides air transport services in the domestic and regional markets efficiently and profitably maximizing shareholder’s value while building skills of Tanzanian nationals and contributing to overall macro economic goals and growth of the national and regional economics.

Vision

A broad strategic vision of Air Tanzania is "An African Airline of choice that, through a strong regional hub based in Dar es Salaam, provides domestic as well as regional and intercontinental connections with major economic, cultural and tourist capitals of the world".
